Can I use my hot tub?

One question I get is “Can I use my hot tub for this?” Absolutely, yes! If you don’t have a pool or have easy access to a pool, make that hot tub work for you! You may not be able to do all the exercises you want, but it’s a fabulous place to do stretches and, of course. stability training. One thing to be cautious about it to not overstay in a high temp hot tub. You may need to consider changing the temp to a cooler setting for safety. Stretches that I would do are hamstring stretches, hip adductors, hip flexors, piriformis, and upper body and neck stretches. Equipment that could be helpful and fit in the hot tub might be a pool noodle, foam dumbbells, or even just using the built-in seat. Paddles or gloves can also be great tools if you’re working on upper body strength or focusing on rotator cuff strengthening. Give it a try!
