Welcome to the aquatics blog! I’m so excited to start this journey and share some of my favorite things, hot topics, and frequently ask questions that patients and clients have asked over the years. As a PT, I’ve used aquatic therapy for some of my patients over the past 18 years and have LOVED getting to use this to help people move better and feel better. It is a fabulous modality to get to use! Here, though, we won’t be sharing ideas for therapy but more for fun, fitness, and educational purposes of how to use your pool to feel better. I can’t wait to get into topics of stretching, core stability, joint health and unloading, strength training, balance work —— all the things! A pool can be used to address all of this with some great results! One of my favorite ways to use the pool is for working against sitting postures from your car or desk! I especially love getting to help people use their pool to unwind and feel better. Welcome to this journey and thank you for joining!!
